The owners of Spicewood Crossing Apartments achieved what they set out to accomplish when they purchased the land on which Spicewood stands. Their intention was to create a luxury apartment and townhome community in the affluent Carrollton area, distinguishable from competitors’ properties, with excellent access to major highways. Their hope was that residents would regard Spicewood Crossing as home, instead of just another place to live. Every possible consideration went into the design of individual residences. Modern, open, space planning with European flair was utilized to provide ample room for residents’ furniture. Maximum possible storage was provided, extra soundproofing was installed in common and perimeter walls, separate showers were built in master bathrooms of two- and three-bedroom residences, and master bathrooms received double vanities. Modern, pendant light fixtures were placed over floating kitchen counters and lovely, contemporary light fixtures were placed in bathrooms. The townhomes were built with two master bathrooms and a powder room. Most residences were designed with built-in bookshelves. Expensive Austin ash stone with stucco, not simulated stone found elsewhere, completed the exteriors of all buildings in the community. The owners wanted Spicewood to be “a cut above” and, when you visit, you will agree that it is. |
